Measure first
Measure your dog lying stretched out, from nose to the base of the tail, and add about 15–20 cm. That’s roughly the bed length they need to sleep comfortably.
Match the bed to their sleeping style
- Curlers, who sleep in a tight ball, love round beds with raised sides — like our knit hexagon beds.
- Sprawlers, who stretch right out, are happiest on a large, flat mattress-style bed.
- Leaners, who rest their head on something, enjoy a bolster or raised edge to lean on.
Think about comfort and care
- Older dogs, and those with stiff joints, need a thicker, supportive base.
- A washable, removable cover makes life much easier.
- In hot weather, choose breathable fabrics — or keep a cooling mat nearby for the hottest days.
